Business Hours

AvSport of Lock Haven is open for flight instruction year-round, except for January and February (months during which local weather conditions are not generally suitable for flying). Normal business hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern local time, four days a week (Friday through Monday). We do not normally instruct on Tuesdays through Thursdays, keeping those three days free for aircraft maintenance, administrative tasks in the office, and the occasional day off.
During our Intensive Training courses, AvSport students may sign up for either morning or afternoon classes. We offer both weekday (Monday and Friday)and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) intensive courses, which run for five weeks. Time slots are: 9 AM - Noon, and 2 PM - 5 PM. See our Events page for exact scheduling. Night training can be scheduled directly between the student and instructor, on an individual basis.
